Hong Vu recently concluded her time as the director of the Utah Office of Multicultural Affairs. As a remarkable colleague and director, she left a tangible mark on the office because of her work on diversity and equity. One of her major contributions was the Senior Leader Toolkit, created as a resource for business and community models to emphasize inclusion as an organizational focus.
Lieutenant Governor Spencer J. Cox, a co-chair on the Multicultural Commission, applauded her work, saying she “added a level of expertise to this role that was immediately impressive to all of us. We are better as a state. She helped to formalize the things we should be doing to treat our fellow journey men and women with the love and respect they deserve.”
We thank her for her outstanding work and wish her the best as she continues to further her opportunities and skills.
