The Multicultural Youth Leadership Summit (MYLS) is a one-day conference that brings together students, educators, and community and state government leaders from across the state. The goal of the MYLS is to provide participants with an inspiring experience to stimulate educational success and help shape the leaders of tomorrow.
This year’s program features CoolSpeak, a dynamic youth engagement organization, and local youth speakers who will share stories of their diverse educational experiences. Interactive breakout sessions will focus on the importance of maintaining cultural identity and pursuing higher education.
Registration is free for students (grades 6-12), educators, and community members. Organizations interested in tabling at the event will be assessed a $50 fee. Light breakfast and lunch are provided to all registered attendees.
Registration opens on Monday, August 31 and closes on Friday, October 2. For more information, please contact Jenny Hor at [email protected] or (801) 245-7214.
