2022 Multicultural Youth Leadership Summit

We invite you to the 2022 Multicultural Youth Leadership Summit! An event for 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students and educators.

EVENT DETAILS

Calling all multicultural 7th-9th grade students and educators in Utah! The Utah Division of Multicultural Affairs is excited to host the Multicultural Youth Leadership Summit—a free and virtual youth leadership event—on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 and Thursday, November 3rd from 9-11 AM. The program will be the same on both days to accommodate more school schedules. This annual program aims to motivate students of diverse identities to explore college and career pathways, financial empowerment, and leadership development. 

Our theme for this year’s statewide conference, “Thriving Together”, aims to motivate students of diverse identities to explore college and career pathways, financial empowerment, and leadership development.

LOCATION

To be held virtually over Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent via email prior to the event.

TIME

Wednesday, October 26th, 2022 or Thursday, November 3rd, 2022

9:00 AM - 11:00 AM (For Both Days)

Classroom Gift Cards & Prizes

Students will be eligible for potential prizes with their participation. Educators who register their classrooms early will receive a $50 gift card. More details below!


REGISTRATION: OPEN THROUGH OCT. 18th

Registration for students, educators, and guests is now OPEN and will CLOSE on Tuesday, October 18th.

Gift Card Offering: The first 30 Educators who register themselves and most of their students by Tuesday, October 11th will receive a $50 gift card to purchase snacks for their classroom. This offer is not available for parents or guardians.

Who Should Complete the Registration Form? All participants should complete this form. If you are a student, make sure that you have an educator or parent/guardian that is registering as well so that we can send further event information to your responsible adult.
