¡Viva la Vida!

Step into the heart of Provo over Labor Day weekend for Festival Latinoamericano and you’ll find yourself transported to a world of vibrant colors, infectious rhythms, and mouth-watering aromas.

The beats of different genres of Latin American music, from traditional to contemporary, attract crowds to showcases of dance groups from across the state and region. Colorful crafts and textiles adorn stalls showcasing local Latin American artists and artisans. Intricately woven textiles, handcrafted jewelry, and vivid paintings tell stories of tradition, heritage, and identity.

The festival was launched in 2001 as a venue to help nonprofits and new companies find customers. It has grown to attract more than 30,000 participants annually, with activities that include carnival rides and freestyle wrestling competitions known as lucha libre.

Learn more about the festival here, and embrace the beauty and varieties of Latin American cultures.
