2016 Multicultural Youth Leadership Day at the Capitol

Every year the Utah Office of Multicultural Affairs (MCA) invites middle school students to attend the Multicultural Youth Leadership Day at the Capitol (MYLD). It is a day to engage youth in the legislative process and to gain an understanding of the importance of becoming informed and involved citizens of Utah. This is also an opportunity to educate legislators on the importance of investing in our youth and to encourage students to stay in school, graduate, and become our future leaders.

  • Cultural Reverence – Rev. Stanley Ellington, True Vine Baptist Church & NAACP Ogden Branch
