A Taste of Italy in the Heart of Salt Lake City
Festa Italiana SLC is a vibrant street festival celebrating Italian culture, cuisine, and community. It’s hosted by two nonprofits, the Italian-American Civic League of Utah and the Italian Club of Salt Lake, with proceeds supporting local and national charitable organizations.
The festival offers music, dancing, and entertainment, as well as kids activities and Italian food served by local restaurants. The festival is traditionally held in mid-September at The Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City.
Past musical performers have included Ricci Martin, the son of Dean Martin, as well as bands from Canada and Italy. The festival also features cultural exhibits about history, craft demonstrations, and activities drawn from Italian culture.
