About the quest

The Community Quest is a passport-style experience that invites you to explore local businesses and community spaces across Utah. Each stop in the passport highlights places that reflect the cultures, traditions, and everyday gathering spaces that make our communities vibrant and connected.

As you visit participating locations, you can check off individual quests, discover new spots, and learn more about the people and stories behind them. Start your quest

Every quest is an opportunity to discover something new — about Utah, your neighbors, or even yourself. Open your passport, choose a quest that sparks your curiosity, and start exploring your community. There is no required order, so you can complete quests at your own pace and revisit your favorites.

Along the way, you might try a new dish like kimbap or kolaches, explore a neighborhood market, visit a cultural landmark, or attend a local festival. Other quests invite you to learn more about your own story by tracing your family tree, talking with a loved one about your heritage, or reflecting on the community you call home.

As you complete each activity, check it off in your passport and keep exploring. Every quest is designed to help you discover the people, places, traditions, and stories that make Utah's communities unique.
